Re: Unless you wanted to play a game
nikoli, that use to be true. That is why I have a PS2 to play games on. I can even get on the net with it too. I don't know why anyone wants to us a pc to play games when a PS2, GameCube is way better. The computer that I had setup for games sucked in the graphics department and it was designed for gaming. Playing the PS2 with surround sound is way way way better. Besides you can get games for Linux too and more are coming out everyday too....Linux is awesome and so far I haven't had to use windows in a long time. I have even converted a quite a few family members over to Linux for all they use them for is to check e-mail and surf the net and write a few letters and one of them even uses Linux to do their checking on it. And if they do need any software installed and can't do it I just go over and do it for them the next time I am going over there.
People who say Linux isn't there yet is fooling themselves and haven't use Linux in awhile.
