- Lawyers must strongly believe...
- that they will win and be able to get more money from the other litigants in this case. Why else would they agree to such a cap? I have said all along that the world is in for a big surprise in this case. Before anybody flames me, I'm not standing up for SCO, I just believe there is more to this case than most people realize. IBM has delayed this case time and again trying to run SCO out of money. Hopefully this cap will put an end to all the shenanigans on both sides.
