The Ghost Company
Is the future company morphing into a kind of middleman that assembles all the outsourced pieces - while doing none of the work itself? It could work, but who would buy stock in such a "ghost" company? IT would certainly have to be nimble, since low-cost providers are also the shakiest in terms of stablity - so you might have to replace a bankrupt outsourced company quickly (and deal with the unpaid/unsupplied stuff). The Ghost Company - we manage everything, but don't actually "do" anything. Hmm, sounds a lot like Enron . . .
