Interesting perspective. I'll just add that this is the first
iteration of the program for Windows, so give the folk at
Apple a little time to adapt and learn from the experience.

Well, I'd hardly say that usability made IE the number one
browser. It was bundling and the removal of Netscape after
MS threatened to "knife the baby". Note that these days,
MS has let both products slide into mediocrity. IE for the
Mac no longer exists, and what is there hasn't been
updated for years. It lacks many of the features standard in
other browsers. Office V.X still has many problems and MS
doesn't seem in a real hurry to fix them.
