I guess in ZDNet's world, WMA is the utopia of open source
nirvana, made by the god of openness himself, Mr. Bill
Gates???, while the AAC format is closed, proprietary hell,
spawned by the demon of absolute evil, Steve Jobs.

But, the real gem comes when you translate the article.

Translation: Holy crap, this thing makes all Windows
software look infantile. We all look like morons, now. Time
to fire up the FUD machine and work it overtime.
