How does that work Artist-Disk Co-Digital File?
When an artist has made an agreement with a 'disk company to ''press a record.

The artist a.retains rights to the work
b.the 'disc,record company
retains them..

With the digital file :
a.an artist agrees to percentage and
arrangement of 'disc company
b.an artist agrees with digital distributor for works.

In either situation the engagement of the rights of works an artist has neither assigned in form should be retained by the artist. It would seem that although 'disc manufacturers would have certain legal rights, the artist would still have the relationship to any new variations within digital- perhaps to be made from decisions on there on. Example a much greater percentage of asset due to sale via the digital medium...

Or:
Step in RIAA....% across the whole board based on analysis of 'disc sales.....

Is that a big hoop,or what...?

RIAA must negotiate for artists in other forms of engagement than the nationalist spectrum of things dont they. Isn't RIAA the 'Union of Artists ?

As well a monopoly cannot persist between online distribution and another larger company.Dont know the layout of this.

Copyright law, cannot be the question RIAA has set out to perform in this perspective.

And you bet I'm looking for a break.

-just talking.
