Poor, poor jellyclock
It must have appeared in the headlines because I don't typically stray beyond the front page. Besides, with 93 talkbacks, it isn't exactly like no one here saw it. Face it, you were wrong. It isn't the first time, it definitely won't be the last. A real man would say "Oops, I was wrong." Since I don't see any hint of an apology or admission of factual incorrectness... well... you do the math.

About the "report", I still don't see any suggestion that this "article" was written by a third party and then "reported" on by the register. It seems to me like it was an editorial, either posted by an editor or a theregister Linux zealot, of which there is no shortage. The suggestion that ZDNet should post editorials from other sites is as ludicrous as expecting Fox news to report on last night's Andy Rooney rant.

Sorry jellyclock2, you are an idiot and every time you post, you simply reaffirm that fact. Thanks for playing though!

PS And if you want to know why I don't address the security issues it is because I probably don't disagree with too much in that report. Windows is fundamentally less secure than Linux. However, the level of "insecureness" in Windows has been grossly exaggerated, likely to match the level of "insecureness" felt by the average Linux zealot! So scream and yell and shout about how I'm going to be infected by a virus 10 minutes after connecting to the internet. My XP SP2 running behind a hardware firewall, running as a non-administrative user account suggests otherwise.

PPS Linux = great. Linux users like you = pathetic. Any questions?
