Not saying that "consumers are incapable of choice", but . . .
. . . I am saying that many consumers who are not 'computer savy' will accept a marginal product delivered with their basic store-bought PC; rather than attempt to install a better one and potentially 'break' things.

"Just being there" is a significant market advantage - and 'tilts' the playing field.
