The search gurus vs the bundlers
If anyone knows how to divide and conquer a search problem, and squeeze all possible speed out of it, it is Google. (They have how many computer scientists who specialize in this?)

If anyone knows how to tie a function to the operating system so that they appear in court to be inseparable, it is Microsoft. (They have how many lawyers who specialize in this?)

Which one will survive?

Microsoft will find a way to:
* modify the Windows file system so that a competitor's search tool will not work as well.
* direct search traffic from its own desktop tool to its own web search site.

MS Desktop Search will be bundled so that you won't need the one from Google or anyone else. MS Web Search will then be the most visited, most important website in the world. People will continue to buy Windows because of the convenience it provides.

Another great entrepreneurial computer science experiment will bite the dust.

Always in motion the future. But someone tell me where I'm wrong.
