"Gates and Balmer were for sure extremely desperate to sign some sort of deal in China after the Sun news."

Uncle Billy and co. must be bribing the Chinese big time. They need to slow the world's adoption of open source. Once an OSS infrastructure is in place, the millions of dollars saved, the lack of endless viruses, the absence of all the useless licensing and also the BSA Nazis will become a shining example of what a waste of time it is dealing with Windows. While other shops are spending through the nose, dedicating a server just for licensing(!), and spending nearly whole days just patching for the endless security issues, they're going to begin scratching their heads wondering why the hell they're wasting their time with Windows. M$ will not be able to hide those benchmarks. BWahahahahaha!!!
