Trying to stop Linux is like trying to stop the wind. It doesn't need Novell or any other company. No MS FUD, no bogus lawsuit, nothing can stop the inevitable. It was a good move by Novell, a recognition of the obvious.
It's sort of like the Internet a few years ago. MS was late to the game, losing ground. Only this time they're not going to be able to decide late in the game to get into Linux. MS is today what Novell was in the early 90's. Nowhere to go but down and no one will feel sorry for them when they get there.
