Buzz word frenzy again...
SOA is the future, but can anyone give a clear, precise definition of what SOA is? I haven't found one yet. In which case how do I know if a product I am buying is SOA or not? How do I make a product SOA compatible.

All we get is lot of vague talk about Web Services and (God help us) XML and no clear talking whatsoever. I begin to doubt that anyone at Gartner has any real experience or understanding of the industry.

Maybe this way the SOA pundits can point to whatever appears to be working and call that SOA?
