Price vs Value

I agree with the assessment that the choice is dependant on the the users need. One can easily buy inexpensive PCs and add many new capabilities to customize to suit the user. Apple has a tendancy to bundle more features as part of the base with fewer options. There is nothing wrong with this approach as long as the majority of the features are those which the user wants. I recently priced two laptops, one Apple and one PC, both had 17" screens. At first glance the PC seems much less expensive, but by the time I had added all the features I wanted, the two were not very far apart at all. It is a matter of value for money, figure out what you want and get what you need within the budget you can afford. Somehow, I can't help but feel that a Vily-age is missing its idiot. I am a PC user at work and a Mac user at home, both platforms have their advantages and disadvantages, strengths and weaknesses. My advice to Vily, stop the uninformed flaming and worry more about where your next computer will be coming from and whether or not it will do the job, being it MS, UNIX or some other OS.
