Maybe you don't get the idea of a market niche. Apple has a
really short inventory path. Stuff doesn't sit on shelves or end
up being clearanced.

So, Apple computers sell really well, yeah. They occasionally
have trouble filling demand, as a matter of fact !

The first iPod was a groundbreaker. Non upgradeable battery?
Funny, I recall that anybody with a screwdriver could replace
one.

G5 a problem with fans? A firmware update fixed that for most
people.

Audio problems? All I recall is some hum on audio jacks.
Easily avoided if you actually bought a USB based mixer board.
Which any professional 'high-end' artist would probably do.

Besides, you act as though this is unique to Apple.

I'd ask you to point out a commodity PC maker that has a better
record, but really, ARE there any PC makers that innovate as
much as Apple does?
