Something MS has been promising and failing to deliver on.
Ease of use. Yes, all my WinXP users talk about how easy Windows is to use but ask them to burn a DVD of the Christmas party and do it proffessionally with titles and everything including smooth transitions and they will tell you that they can't do it with their computer 97% of the time.

THe other 3% of the time, you are talking to a superuser with an AMD mega system loaded to the hilt with all the latest gadgets and the memory and processing power to actually handle it.

There is a fair chance that they are running *nix also. I think someone told me one in 5 of their Athlon64 FX purchasers tells him that they do not plan to load Windows.
