Forcing trading partners ?
I'm hoping his (Mike Cox) superiors read his ZDNet posts. Even if he's a CIO, he's definitely overstepping his boundaries. If he's an admin, he'll be let go soon just for his fanaticism. I have seen a few admins get walked out the door for less. If trading relationships are severed, he will be the one directly responsible.
Obviously, he has wasted a lot of his companies time and money deploying whatever that garbage software is he keeps spouting off about and is using these posts to somehow justify this poor business decision that's been made.
Office 2003 will only destroy the desktop applications if one installs the latest M$ software so don't worry folks, just avoid upgrading like the plague your high-quality desktop publishing progs should work just fine.
