Windows is the future?
what are you trying to do? If solaris was a consideration and your sys admins can/know how to support MS, why not Linux? Future ain't with Windows no matter what "facts" your Marketing rep tells you. Unless your call center apps (or moreover, the apps that the Company that is outsourcing the call center specifies) are Win based, most all of the functions required are available in Linux (note that I said unless the parent company is dependent on an ISV not certified on Linux). Be open minded and understand that there is always a better way; yes, Solaris might not be it (especially given their lack of identity proprietary v. open source), but folks are already implementing lower cost and more robust solutions where possible.
