- This is exactly what we need to combat Longhorn.
- If Microsoft can convince most people to use the new proprietary web technologies in Longhorn, they will be able to maintain the monopoly. On the other hand, if we can establish a standard that gains a critical mass ahead of Longhorn, Microsoft will not have the control that they do now.
