- "media center" useless

No company, especially Microsoft, will ever "own" the living room. There is very little interest at all in this, and those that do have some interest seem to roll their own stuff anyway. The most obvious reason for companies' interest in this is obvious: they will be able to profile people in their own homes to an unprecendented level. Think Neilson box on acid. I wouldn't eventrust a Sony with this. And all the restrictions they are determined to ramrod down our throats are making it so that I could care less about all entertainment anymore. All the "entertainment" is sooo forgettable nowadays anyway. Not like I am giving up anything substantial here. If it gets to a point such that all activity on a TV or computer can be tracked at all times in real time, I will throw it all out the window and the big corps can all go suck on a big fat greasy tube steak!!!
