Real World Experience
Twenty some odd years experience with Windows is enough to beleive they can't get anything right, and now they want to complicate it more! They deserve to get beat up until they get their core product right---the OS; screw IE, screw Media Player; screw MSN; screw office apps.; give me what I need---a stable OS,then think about the other things. Linux? Right. I took a look at switching, but was totally confused by the "add this" "add that" to make it work.

I detest MS, but I'm too busy to spend my time trying to figure out Linux and keeping up with MS security problems.

My Mitsubishi big screen comes on after 8 years of use; my comcast cable box has sat on my TV for 5 years; both cars have 100,000+ miles and still going strong; refrigerator just wants a new water filter every 6 months; home theater has blasted away for 10 years; I don't need MS problems with any of my appliances.
