Beyond the usual Linux versus MS merde
Does it not strike anyone a bit odd that the French - who never have been the true blue allies of the US to the extent that the Brits and the Aussies have - are teaming up with the ChiComs?

Even better yet - it's the French Atomic Energy Commission with the blessing of Mssr. Chirac - you know those guys - they are the ones that built the Iraq reactor that the Israelies blew up (Chirac brokered the deal) working hand in hand with the ChiCom Ministry of Science and Tech (oh those guys - gosh ain't it grand that they now know how to build Mk88 MIRV thermonuclear devices?).

Oh sure, yep all they want to do is help expand the use of Linux, bring world peace, feed the masses and heal the lame.

More likely this is to be able to use the data that was stolen from Lawrence Livermore - cheap supercomputing using Linux clusters allowing the terraflop computations required to do the modeling required to build/alter/design nukes.

But gosh - all should sleep well at night, as the Open Source community stands guard, ready to fend off the ever rapacious minions of the evil Gates and his brutish henchman, Ballmer....

Cause after all, it's all about Beating Microsoft, no matter the means, no matter the how, no matter the price. Right?
