Indeed. It's not all doom and gloom for the proponets of offshoring and the cheap laborers being exploited overseas. Although your friend may benefit at present, his prosperity will be short-lived as companies streamline their offshore business costs. Now ponder your friend's long-term prospects as more companies offshore work overseas...
