A small towns tale
I live next to (well what used to be a textile town), textiles, oil, light to medium industry.

As i grew up (mind you just 25 years ago) i walked down the street actually on an overpass
where i could see the old industry road.

Miles after miles of the old white abandoned building. (later when i tried to find a job i ended up (you guessed it) at a fast food joint
(which closed down due to no customers)
Gee i cant imagine why.

Now 25 years and at least 6 careers later
i am watching in amazement as the same line that was feed to us 25 years ago is being repeated

Dont worry these jobs are leavng but they will be replaced by service industry or other jobs

That was 25 years ago and the town is still the same, but one good note (the homes now cost 500,000) for a 4 bedroom.

The nazi propaganda machine said (and i dont know exactly whom) Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.

Well here you are zdnet has bought it
