>>Back in 1993-94 outsourcing was a huge thing. Companies were outsourcing thier accountants and book keepers. Sure it wasn't to foriegn country but the concept is similiar.

Theres the rub. Its not a similiar issue. They outsourced American jobs to Americans who lived in a similiar cost-of-living environment. When you outsource to India you get 5 workers for the cost of a single American employee because the cost of living there is so much less. And before you go thinking you are so smart they can never find a replacement you are dead wrong. India is packed full of degree holding grads who are itching to prove you wrong. The way things are going they most likely will....
