Must have been setup well..
Unlike at, say, my university.. where to print a document you must type the nonsensical command:

lpr -Psf1013a

case sensitive. And some have reported it also helps to chant a voodoo prayer while doing so.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.. Linux has gotten better, but from what I've seen (and I have by no means seen it all), it's not there yet.
