Java is so "bad"!
MS and its screechy advocates, are continuously attacking Java and SUN on every possible occasion.

At the same time .net, their "next-greatest" "techonology", that has promised to eat Java for breakfast, is still in the bull_hiting phase.

Yes, Java is not the fastest possible execution vehicle, but IT IS THERE and EVERYWHERE! I can run Java from an old style IBM mainframe to a Supercomputer, any workstation to a palm to my wrist-watch. And it CAN connect from embedded devices over wireless to anything as long as there is IP running somewhere.

What in the name of God is .net? Where is it? They slapped together their botched java VM with some http/dcom libraries and they have a "coherent platform for distributed computing"?

It is similar to claiming that "we have wings, fuel, a propulsion engine, thus we are ready to go to the MOON " happy

Well, let them go happy
