The product is IE not the website visted with IE.

To use an example above. IE is like a TV channel and the show is like a website. There maybe ads in the show but that in no way stops the channel from putting comercials that for product that compete with the product placement ads in the show.

Simplest solution, easier than not buying, is to use a browser that doesn't do pop up ads. For example Mozilla does this for free or you can purchase an IE plugin to do the same thing.
