384 mbs? weak, weak, weak. 1.5 at 25 bucks a month would make a statement. And get them some customers. I have comcast cable in south jersey. I have to buy cable tv - lowest price about 9 a month for nothing but better reception- and then pay 44 a month for 1.5 mbs. if I ddn't pay the 9 a month for nothing, I would pay 60 a month for cable internet. Comcast is promising to double it's speed. I doubt it. Even if they do, their routing is so bad that 1.5 mbs - when surfing, not downloading- is sort of like 500kbs. Page loads are slow. Even if comcast does go to 3m, with their current routing setup (I go through seven or eight hops before getting out of the local comcast network) a carrier who had good routing could offer 1.5 at 25-27 dollars a month and win.
