Fact: Sun is pushing Open Office as the "international standard"

Fact: Sun and Microsoft have a mutual non-aggression treaty on all IP *EXCEPT" Open Office (MS can stillsue over patent and copyright issues in OO)

QUestion not addressed at all in article: If Sun is supporting world-wide distros of OO, yet still has that agreement with MS, aren't they blowing smoke out their nether regions with somebody? Like the end users?
