Why do you continue the "java is slow" propaganda
Either you are just passing on ignorant heresay, or you have an agenda.

There are many studies showing that java is comparable in speed to C++ and is in some cases actually faster. Here are a couple articles for reference.

These studies are for the older versions of Java as well.
