Window Components
2) Linux has less cohesion in shared libraries. Many Linux applications use large number of libraries, many of which are rarely shared. This means that Linux has to load these libraries when starting applications, unlike in windows where practically everything is based on the Microsoft standard libraries and have to be loaded only once during system startup.

Hasn?t that been one of the arguments MS has been making for having integrated components, and why features such as the browser cannot easily be stripped out ? because of interdependency issues?
