Most large companies have a legal department. I remember working for a telecom and it always had something going on in court. This is actually very common. Most people (such as yourself) who work outside large corporations usually dont know that this is business as usual.

Microsoft was declared a monopoly. If you believe it is a monopoly or not does not matter since thats a legal term and I doubt your a lawyer. With that said, the legal ramifications of being declared a monopoly will have no effect on you or anyone you know. Let it rest.
