Unenforceable eight year non compete
I'm no lawyer but my father has been for 54 years. Numerous noncompete have been thrown out by the courts if the caused the signing party, say Novell, undue economic hardship. If SCO sues, then Novell can claim hardship becuase they'll have to kiss off hundreds of millions of dollars in assets. Even Microsuck coulnd't handle that kind of hit.
