The question is...
How does Verisign intend to make that money, if they're selling off the Network Solutions registrar? I figured the real (as opposed to nominal) reason for the service was to steer domain registration business their way; if not that, what (unless, of course, that was their plan; it didn't work, and now they're trying to save face)?

As pro-corporate posters constantly point out, these companies are not charities, so no, I don't believe that Verisign's interest in SiteFinder is altruistic; they're trying to make money off of it somehow; I'm just not sure how.
