RE: how about a non-compete clause?
""Give the student a choice. They complete their degree here, can enter into an H-1B visa to stay and work, but if they decide to go home they may not be hired by any US company, US subsidiary, or contractor to a US company for a period of 10 years. When quitting this country, they're placed on a list which US firms must check before placing an employee overseas. The choice is to remain and become a US citizen: pay taxes, join the American Dream, and be oppressed by our mad corpocracy.

Sounds like a sweet deal to me!

Note: I'm not in the least serious.""

Personally speaking, this country is stabbing itself in the back and going crazy over other countries.

Other countries are always going to be 3rd world countries b/c they want other countries like us to take care of them hand and foot. Let them do it themselves, let them break their backs to get themselves established as a country like we had to do and many other countries.

Why do we always have to foot the bill? I'm not against charity, but i'm against people sponging off of you and enjoying a free ride.

It's like tellng you, you have to support a whole other person who's not even related to you, or may not even like you, for the rest of their life. When they could be trained on how to do a skilled job in their country to boost up their local economy.

If you think the USA was a hard country to form, take another look. Austarlia was a penal conoly for crimials. What happened? They turned it into a good country, one that can support itself and tries to help and aide other countries like we do.

Japan, England and many more countries are on board with the US prinicipal of providing their own self-economy. It's just the prinicipal of trying to improve themselves that make them a better country.

Where do you see other 3rd world countries in the near future? Not very far, the only other country trying to bring itself up and doing a much better job then any other country so far is China.

So, i say, no more H1 visa programs, have those people coming into this country for school move here and live here. Then make them US citizens, make them speak english, you know the language that we speak in this country. I don't want to hear anything about other immigrants from other countries saying it's too hard to learn english.

When we first started this country, all immigrants learned english and we prosperred very well, because we didn't have to work in many different languages making life easier.
