The MS Illusion
Microsoft ruins everyones day, unfortunately its only the minority who knows. You're right on the money though they have bought just about every technology. MS paid Jim Kyle 20k for DOS in turn IBM leased it instead of buying it. Countless other buyouts of companys that I will not even go into.
MS Stole the GUI idea from Apple who in turn stole it from Xerox. I always hear the term innovation from the MS press. All I see is pieced together technologies into one package. It's no wonder their operation system has so many flaws. The only reason I see MS in the position they are in now is IBM. Big business wanted PC's and IBM was the main player in that arena. What's good for business must be good for the home user.
Don't get me wrong I like and use Windows, it makes one hell of a game machine.
