Just history repeating itself.....
Like all mighty empires of the past we in the United States are
repeating the same inevitable path towards destruction.

We grow to the number one world power, and just as we achieve
this status we begin to decline. Slowly at first (heck our
momentum carries us forward for a while alone!) but then we
begin to think that we are better than the rest, heck even
Blessed by God and such. Then the fall really starts. Others
around us learn and adapt. We let our advantages slip out of
our hands. Others change tatctics...we keep doing the same old
reliable things. Sooner or later we will wake up one day and the
world will have left us behind. There will be a new kid on the
block..and new number one. The only thing that will give us
solace is the fact that even this new number one will eventually
fall...Unless that is they unlike we have learned a thing or two
from the past. What am I saying!?! Learning from HISTORY! hee
hee hee..snicker.
