Ecomomist are frequently wrong !!
People need to take economists ideas with a HUGE GRAIN OF SALT!! Economist are regularly wrong. It is very hard to study simpler things than the economy, such as medical or physical sciences, where the variables are much more isolated and fewer - economics is much harder. Economist can study things in certain ranges but have little predictive power outside these ranges where SHOCKS happen. They can tell you what happens when labor costs are say +/- 40% but not when labor costs are +/- 1000%. This is why they could not predict shock events (great depression, oil shocks of the 70s) and are GREATLY underestimating how this country is playing with economic fire.

The citizens of the economy need to re-educate the economist, business captians, and more importantly, politicians this November about the "realities" of global trade versus macroeconomic theories.
