- I've seen the jobs go in Canada too
-
Thing is I notice certain things occuring before the jobs go. First thing is people stop buying nationally made item and start buying over seas items for less. Quality drops and the businesses see that the consumer doesn't care about quality and is unwilling to pay for it. So they follow suit and ship manufacturing job off to where people are willing to work for less.
I personally find I'd rather spend more for something of quality instead of feeding money year after year replacing that item even though it may take me 4 years of replacements to buy 1 quality item I prefer not filling the land fill with garbage products. If more people were like this jobs wouldn't go anywhere. - Posted by: voska Posted on: 09/24/04 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
