Sony to support MP3

I stay away from Sony products entirely these days: Sony used mean Quality but not anymore. Poor quality hardware in terms of soldering. Your lucky to get 6 months of use out of Sony product these days judging by a friend who works customer service in a electronics shop. He's constantly shipping Sony products off for repairs. Problem is if you don't have extended warranty you don't get a new replacement until it comes back from repairs with a designation of "Not worth Repairing". That usually takes 6-8 Weeks plus shipping time if the Sony repair shop is not local.
