Just a Thought
If I was a propriety wich had such a software IM , and I found that 'Nelson Ratings' was running off the patronage of my products consuming public, I could give them the boot couldn't I ?

Now Im 'sure that anybody can be accomadated statistically as well as functionally. But if you had as much as a simulation in what IM is - your stereo with a phone, video etc hooked up , anybody could relate to this.

But for a study, for it to work , nelson ratings have got to take a hike.

Since nobody needs to be impressed by the simulated study. Just impressed via functional applications. Im not so sure that this is ACTUALLY what the software IM vendors are going to do. It just seems to be a temptation to bring the question of DRM to the 'hardwire where again something only has the possibility of being none-of-their (or your own ) business.

Be all you can be liscence agreements are for the birds.

- just talking.
