What about the customers?
A CEO also has a responsibility to the customers. You know, those folks that generate revenue and give the stock value. I can tell you, as one of those customers, that I want nothing to do with an Oracle takeover.

When you run a company with the single goal of increasing the value of the shares, you end up with Enron.
