Depends
Windows 2000, Windows 2000 server, Windows 2000 Advanced server, Windows 2000 datacenter, Windows XP Pro and Windows XP home and few others are differnt OSes in the same OS family. This is just new OS to that family of OSes.

What I want is place to store my DVD movies on the harddisk to form an online library like I've done with my music. As far as I'm concerned here a device that can do this can be not networkable as long as it offers room to expand harddrives.
