but what do you need to fix?
My OS doesn't get infected, my MACHINE does.
that has got to be the most cleaver dodge i've heard in a while.. but if you MACHINE were vulnerable.. what part of it do you need to patch? mostly.. the software...

besides.. even then, the aggregate total is meaningless, since most people probably arent' running the aggregate of all open source apps...

not to mention many sources take the same flaw on different distros as to mean there are two flaws...
