Since Firefox/Mozilla isn't embedded into Windows it can never approach IE's vulnerabilities.

So the Redmond leaning tech press has to say something to try to make people think that non-Microsoft programmers may also be building bloated buggy insecure products.

I don't know why Microsoft would be worried. Their will always be tons of people naive enough to buy their software.
