... how many consultants have you had who were really worth a $#!+? Most service companies send dregs. If you happen to get one who's really talented, [s]he's probably the victim of a soft job market, killing time and just pulling down a paycheck any way they can. And as the job market improves, they're the first to land permanent/direct positions. Get 'em while you can.
