I can see you and I are actually among the few people who have actually used Solaris on the x86 platform.

As for the rest of you, please download and install a copy of Solaris on the x86 platform before you even begin to talk about how great Solaris is.

There is a very good reason that Solaris on x86 is called Slow-aris by lots of Unix people out there.
