Stupid Sun again?
I guess Sun didn't learn their lesson the last time they tried to partner with Microsoft and ended up having to sue them over Java. A fool and his money is soon parted.

Also how exactly is having the same file system between two different OSes suppose to be a good thing for the consumer?

This is just a distraction for Sun. Move along, nothing to see here.
