Not suer about the demand for WIndows on SPArc.
I doubt that anyone will go to the effort to write a HAL for SPArc chips, as there has never been any demand for it. Microsft has already abandoned HALs for PowerPC, MIPS and Alpha dur to a low demand, no support fo rthe first 2 as of NT4 SP3 or SP4 (maybe earlier). The killed the Alpha based work before W2K was released and have made no users (consumers, corporations, etc.) have made any requests for it on SPArc.
