SPF augmenst DNS, get a clue!
SMTP (the other protocol thatthis proposal deals with) also needs to be augmented and [propogated through a given LAN, ISP, etc. That the proposal was kicked back to Microsoft from the IETF indictaes that there is work that needs to be done on it. It still has to get through the IETF's MTA Authorization Records in DNS (MARID) working group.

You have no numbers or sources (beyond perhaps what is in your own imagination). This was sent back by the IETF, it needs to be worked on! This has been reported in onther sources, also! It requires more than Microsft,as they are not the only players in the game! I have already listred many MTA's and the all critical DNS, do you even know what these things are or are yo uso bound to the desktop that you never ventured beyond that in your network topology?
